Chaplains provide spiritual care in settings such as hospitals, prisons/correctional facilities, military, education, police/fire departments, and more. AGTS has been preparing students for chaplaincy since 1972 and has alumni serving in chaplaincy positions all over the world. At AGTS, you will develop a network of relationships with other chaplain candidates that will persist for decades of future ministry.

Requirements
Chaplain candidates pursue the Master of Divinity (MDiv) Military/Institutional Chaplaincy Concentration. To improve placement and promotion opportunities, students are encouraged to take an additional 12 credits to create a 90-credit MDiv.

As the national seminary for the Assemblies of God, approved AG chaplain candidates receive endorsement from Chaplaincy Ministries of the Assemblies of God. Students pursuing a master’s degree receive the Pentecostal Leaders Scholarship reducing tuition to only $300 per credit hour. Scholarships covering up-to full tuition are also available to AG chaplain candidates from Chaplain Ministries of the Assemblies of God.Learn More
