Children's Ministries

Invest in the lives of tomorrow’s leaders as you thoughtfully lead them into a personal relationship with the Lord.

Learn the strategy behind a holistic approach to children’s ministry, including ministry to children with special needs, as well as how to advocate for the needs of children in a church setting.

Professors with real-world ministry experience provide foundational instruction in creative storytelling and evangelism, homiletics, and the administration of early childhood educational programs, as well as family dynamics. Integrate best practices in education and human services to meet the needs of the modern family.

Looking for a major focused on Children’s Ministries? Consider pursuing a Church Leadership major with a Children and Family Track.

Minors: Learn how to integrate children’s ministry into the comprehensive outreach program plan of the local church.

Concentrations: Gain a foundational understanding of children’s ministry operations and how to advance your calling in ministry.

Hydrate – an innovative KidsMin curriculum

Evangel is partnering with the Assemblies of God Children’s Ministries Department to offer relevant training through the use of the Hydrate learning curriculum. This integrated curriculum will equip future children’s ministry leaders by offering practical training from experienced leaders. The partnership includes the benefit of mentorship opportunities with national Assemblies of God KidMin leaders and hands-on application through local children’s ministries programs.
