SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Department of Natural & Applied Sciences at Evangel University has announced its 2024 graduation awards. The awards were presented during the traditional undergraduate baccalaureate service held on Thursday, May 2 in the Robert H. Spence Chapel.
The Department of Natural & Applied Sciences offers a variety of innovative majors to prepare students for careers in leading science-focused industries, including Applied Sciences & Sustainability, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Health Care, Mathematics, and Pre-Medicine.
The department boasts many hands-on training opportunities for students, including a greenhouse and a cadaver lab.

The Class of 2024
Evangel University and AGTS celebrated 537 graduates at a joint commencement ceremony at Great Southern Bank Arena (formerly known as JQH Arena) in Springfield on May 2. Graduates earned a total of 32 doctoral, 125 master’s, 329 bachelor’s, and 51 associate’s degrees. Of the graduate degrees, 68 master’s degrees and 16 doctoral degrees were conferred by AGTS.
