SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – Evangel University will host Grammy Award nominee Kari Jobe for a live concert on Tuesday, August 15 at 7 p.m. in Spence Chapel on Evangel’s campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. The “Summer 2023” tour will also feature worship artists Cody Carnes and Sean Curran and Christian band LEELAND.
Pre-sale tickets are available today through June 1 at https://www.itickets.com/events/473720. Pre-sale ticket recipients will receive a free signed tour poster. Standard tickets will be available at the same link beginning June 2.
Jobe is a world-renowned worship leader who uses her musical gifting to lead people into the presence of God. Over the past two decades, she has been nominated for a Grammy Award, won multiple Dove Awards, co-wrote and recorded the viral hit song “The Blessing,” an RIAA Gold Certified single, and received praise from The New York Times.
Originally from Texas, Jobe now resides in Nashville, Tennessee and frequently tours the country with her husband, Cody Carnes, and their two boys, Canyon and Kingston. Both Jobe and Carnes serve in worship ministry at The Belonging Co., a church movement based in Nashville.
