Assemblies of God Theological Seminary hosts renowned Biblical scholar Dr. Craig Keener

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS), the embedded seminary of Evangel University (EU), will host Dr. Craig Keener, nationally-renowned Biblical scholar and theologian, this Thursday, March 21 for a day of discussion and insight on Pentecostalism and women in ministry.

Events will be held in Seymour Chapel at AGTS and the public is invited to attend at no cost.

A panel discussion will be held from 2-3 p.m. on preaching and Pentecostalism, moderated by Dr. Robert Eby, director of the seminary’s Cordas C. Burnett Center for Biblical Preaching. Panelists include Keener, EU President Dr. Mike Rakes, and Director of the Assemblies of God Network of Women Ministers (NWM) Crystal Martin. The session will be livestreamed at evangel.edu/keenertalk.

An evening session will be held from 7-8 p.m. with Keener presenting a biblical view of women in church leadership in partnership with NWM. The session will also be livestreamed at evangel.edu/keenertalk.
