Missouri Fast Track

Evangel participates in the Fast Track Workforce Incentive program which helps cover the cost of programs in high-demand career fields.

Workforce Development for Missouri Residents

Evangel University supports workforce development in the state of Missouri and participates in Missouri’s Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant.

The Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant is a financial aid program that addresses workforce needs by encouraging adults to pursue a certificate, degree, or industry-recognized credential in an area designated as high need.

Grant Money to Cover Tuition and Fees

The Fast Track Workforce incentive grant ensures that tuition and fees are fully covered for eligible Missouri residents enrolled in one of Evangel’s approved programs.

The grant is non-loan financial aid that can be applied to four semesters (up to 60 credit hours) of study.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible for the Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant, you must:

  • Be at least 25 years old or, if you are a student, have not enrolled in an educational program (high school or postsecondary) in the last two years.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be a Missouri resident for at least two years, an active duty member of the U.S. military transferred to Missouri, or the spouse of an active duty military member.
  • Have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA®)
  • Have a federal adjusted gross income of $80,000 or less if filing jointly, or $40,000 or less for any other tax filing status.
  • Enroll in an eligible program at least half-time. 
  • Have not yet received a bachelor’s degree.

Fast Track grant recipients are required to report their employment and residency to the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development for three years.
