Scholarship Details and Deadlines
Our talent award program encompasses Fine Arts Scholarships, along with athletic scholarships, and students can only receive one talent/fine arts scholarship. For optimal consideration, it is recommended to submit your application on or before March 1 annually.
Eligibility
Scholarships are awarded based on performance/talent ability and needs within the applicable department. Fine Arts scholarships are part of our talent scholarship program, which also includes athletic awards. Please note that recipients can only qualify for one talent award. Major/minor recipients are expected to participate in University groups as a condition of their award.
Renewable
Yes, as long as the student maintains a 2.0 GPA, continued participation in the Fine Arts Program for which the recipient was selected, and good standing with the department and the University. Fine Arts Scholarship recipients who change their major or minor at any future point in time will need to contact the Financial Aid Office to discuss the impact to their overall financial aid package.
Awards
Department major awards range from $1,000 to $3,000. Performance and department minor awards range from $500 to $2,000.
Requirements
Admission to Evangel and a completed fine arts application followed by your audition, presentation, or portfolio submission is required for consideration.
Deadline
Fine Arts Application and audition/presentation deadline has been extended to December 1, 2023.

Auditions/Presentations/Portfolios can also be submitted electronically.
Audition Dates
Preaching presentations, theatre auditions, and portfolio submissions can be scheduled during any of our preview events. Music Department auditions are held on specific days throughout the year.
