I was born in Portland, ME, and I will always love the smell of pine trees, campfire, and the Atlantic Ocean. Growing up, my dad’s job had our family moving to a different location every few years. Prior to his retirement, he believed that he was a missionary called to the corporate board room, so we understood that our family was called to an intentional missional lifestyle, integrating biblical principles into activities of daily living. Because of that, we were also heavily involved in the ministry of the local church in all the places where we lived, in the US and abroad. My parents continue to encourage me to:
· learn something new – every day
· do something for the Kingdom – every day
This paradigm has led me on some wild adventures.
I have worked with Convoy of Hope for more than 16 years to help provide training, resources, and offer best practices in partnership with local churches that are engaging to meet needs in their respective communities.
Serving as an adjunct professor, I bring experience and career in elementary education, nursing, ESL education, international living, missions, disaster preparedness, and building capacity and resilience.
