Julie Mayne has taught at Evangel University since 2014. She lectures and conducts labs for classes such as Biology, Physical Science, Earth Science, Botany, University Seminar, History and Philosophy of Science, and Instructional Methods in Science. Her passion is to help students understand how to integrate their belief in God’s Word with their understanding of the natural world. Her responsibilities include classroom and online instruction, academic advising, and serving on university committees including Professional Development, Institutional Review Board, ValorOne, and Education Standards and Approval. She also partners with the Education Department to teach and mentor future high school science teachers. Her hope is to equip students to serve the Lord in their vocational calling and through their character and academic excellence.
