Dr. Morris is a graduate of Evangel University and joined the music faculty in 1999. His diverse performance background includes solo recitals, sacred concerts, chamber ensembles, solo engagements with orchestras, public radio appearances, and is currently a member of the Excelsis Trio. He frequently serves as an adjudicator, clinician, speaker, and has conducted numerous piano masterclasses and workshops.
Outside of music, Dr. Morris has a wide variety of interests. He has a black belt in Taekwondo and is an avid outdoorsman, motorcyclist, and cyclist. He and his wife Sheila have two adult children.
