Kinesiology Department

Studying kinesiology will prepare you for a range of exciting careers, including coaching, sports management, athletic training, and teaching.

Overview

From the science of the body’s movements to the hands-on work of training, coaching, and sports management, Evangel’s Kinesiology programs are on the cutting edge of all things athletic. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professors, coaches, and trainers who can teach you the hows and whys of the intricacies of body movement, training and coaching techniques, and as well as how to manage an athletics programs.

You’ll receive a Christ-centered holistic approach to health, including physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. You’ll learn the science behind exercise and human movement, patient care, and injury prevention.

Evangel's Kinesiology programs will equip you to train athletes, coach teams, teach, or go on to graduate work in occupational therapy, athletic training, or physical therapy.
