I serve AGTS as the Associate Professor of Pastoral Leadership and Practical Theology.
What is your favorite memory from AGTS?
My favorite memory is still my favorite—the multiple “Day of Renewal” services.
How did AGTS help you identify/develop your calling?
AGTS grounded me in a biblical vision of God’s mission and my place within it.
How did your experience at AGTS prepare you for life after graduation?
My education at AGTS equipped me with the personal, spiritual, and academic disciplines necessary to fulfill my ministerial calling.
What advice would you give a current student preparing for the ministry/workforce?
Find ways to be actively engaged in ministry while you are a student at AGTS. This will provide you with good references for your resume, as well as keep your learning embedded in real life ministry contexts.
What would you look for if you were in a position to hire new graduates from AGTS?
I would look for personal wholeness, spiritual growth, and ministerial competence.
