Tell us about your career and what you do now.
My career began in the building trades in 1986, which is really where I still reside, although in a different role. I’m currently the president of an employee owned company, Gold Mechanical, with 130+ employees actively working in Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
I started my first business at 23 years old and have held positions as CFO, CEO, and board appointments that have taken me as far as Washington D.C. My wife Nancy and I also own a nationwide manufacturing and sales company called Jordan Essentials. So business and management are part of my family’s DNA.
