Biography:
After twenty-four years at Missouri State University, Dr. MacGregor started at Evangel University in Fall 2024 as the Coordinator of Dissertation Research. In her previous role she was the Ed.D. Site Coordinator for the MSU region of the Statewide EdD program offered through the University of Missouri. Since retiring from MSU in 2024 where she is Emeritus Faculty there.
A life-long Missouri resident and member of the LCMS, she has lived in the Springfield area since 1984. During her time in the region, she has worked as a psychotherapist for Burrell Mental Health Center and as the Director of Student Services for the evening college program at Drury University.
In May 2022 she began writing weekly inspirational messages on Substack. Those messages became a podcast, “Mystery’s Voice,” in October 2023. Subscriptions are provided for free.
Known as “Dr. Mac” to her students, her favorite title is “Grandma.” Her three children, all married, have brought her the joy of several grandsons and one granddaughter.
