Inform your admissions counselor that you are interested in joining Valor Athletics. They will make sure and indicate your interest in your file. Make sure to also mark your interest in athletics when you visit or submit your application.

Share your background on our Prospective Athlete Form. You can also find it at Evangel Athletics. Just click on the Recruits tab at the top.

Schedule a Visit. Visiting campus is a great way to get in front of coaches. For a successful visit, register at least two weeks ahead of time and make sure the coach you want to meet is in town and on campus for the visit day you are planning. Our visit coordinator can help you arrange a meeting and possibly a time to work out with the team.

Register with the NAIA. You can access resources, learn about eligibility rules, discover schools, and more.

Send an email introducing yourself and share what you can bring to the team. Let them know you are interested in connecting and learning about the recruitment process. You may not get a response right away, but getting your name in front of them can make a difference. In some instances, and at some points in the year, a coach may not be able to talk to you yet, so don’t feel rejected if you don’t get a quick response. You can find coach information here.

For the programs that offer a camp, sign up now! This can be one of the best ways to get in front of our coaches and show them what you’ve got. Don’t see your sport listed? Email the coach to see what they offer.

Ask your high school and/or club coach to reach out on your behalf. Our coaches have relationships with many of them, and a call or email from your coach might just get you an invitation to campus!

Complete your application for admission sooner rather than later. Coaches will evaluate you on your skill, but they are also interested in knowing your academic credentials as well.
