SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel University music majors Amanda Bollinger and Emily Stokes will present a joint senior vocal recital on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barnett Recital Hall.
The public is invited to attend and admission is free.
Bollinger is the daughter of Ivis and Nancy Bollinger from St. Louis, MO. She will be accompanied by Dr. Linda Ligate, professor of piano.
Stokes is the daughter of Dave and Neva Stokes from Alton, IL. She will be accompanied by Carol Wilson, retired music instructor at Evangel.
Both students are worship leadership majors, a degree designed for students who love music and feel called to use their talents in church music ministry. Careers include choir director, orchestra director and worship music leader. It is also a good track for a student who intends to pursue graduate studies in music.
