Dr. Don ToshTosh keynote speaker at MAKO Conference

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Evangel University professor of mathematics Don Tosh was the keynote speaker at the fourth MAKO undergraduate math research conference, held at Missouri State University on Nov. 8.

MAKO stands for Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma, the regions from which undergraduates were invited to attend the conference. Each undergraduate researcher made a short presentation on his or her research project.

Every year, a faculty member is chosen to present along with the students. During Tosh’s presentation, Flatland: Inference to Higher Dimensions, he discussed the mathematical properties of higher dimensions.
