Incoming freshman National Merit Scholar

Adam GrumkeSpringfield, Mo. — Adam Grumke, incoming freshman at Evangel University, is a National Merit Scholar and the recipient of a $2,500 scholarship. He is the son of Curtis and Pamela Grumke of Blue Springs, Mo.

National Merit $2,500 Scholarship winners are the finalists in each state who are judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.

Grumke will be majoring in biology in the premedical program at Evangel University.

He has also been awarded a full-tuition Founders Scholarship, the highest academic scholarship that Evangel awards. Each year, two full-tuition and ten half-tuition Founders Scholarships are awarded to students who have consistently demonstrated their commitment to Christ and to high academic achievement.

Evangel University is a private, coeducational university that offers more than 100 undergraduate academic programs and eight master’s programs. Evangel draws students from all 50 states and abroad.
