Six students; two professors to serve in Thailand

Springfield, Mo. — Six Evangel University students and two professors will be traveling to Thailand from June 4 through July 26 in a service trip to Udon Thani.
The team will be teaching English, working with children and conducting a basketball camp. Joshua Mattix, adjunct professor of theology, and junior Lauren McKenzie, from West Linn, Ore., will lead the team.
“We will use various venues to build relationships and serve people in Thailand,” said Dr. Gary Martindale, associate professor of biblical studies, who helped organize the trip and will oversee their work.

- Angelica Campbell sophomore from Lake St. Louis, Mo.
- Michelle Michener, sophomore from Arlington, Texas
- Grace Kelley, freshman from Green City, Mo.
